Natural Resource Partners Q3 Profit Declines

(RTTNews) - Natural Resource Partners L.P. (NRP) Tuesday reported third-quarter net income attributable to limited partners of $35.4 million or $0.32 per unit, compared to $51.0 million or $0.48 per unit last year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report earnings of $0.36 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Total revenues and other income for the quarter dropped 4 percent to $82.24 million from $94.18 million a year ago, while five analysts estimated revenues of $85.45 million for the quarter.
