NEC Solutions America, Biometrics Customers Convene for 19th Annual AFIS Technology Customer Conference

NEC Solutions (America), Inc., a premier provider ofintegrated solutions for the Connected Enterprise in North America,today announced the kickoff of the 19th annual conference of AFISInternet, Inc., an organization of approximately 170 internationalfingerprint technology professionals using NEC's Automated FingerprintIdentification System (AFIS) products and services. Several hundredNEC AFIS customers, partners and executives are attending theconference August 28-31, in San Diego, Calif.

The conference includes four days of meetings, seminars andtechnology demonstrations that cover a wide range of AFIS topics,including law enforcement issues, criminal case studies, courtroompresentations and more.
