NextEra Energy, Inc. Q3 Profit Decreases, but beats estimates

(RTTNews) - NextEra Energy, Inc. (NEE) announced a profit for third quarter that decreased from last year but beat the Street estimates.

The company's bottom line came in at $1.219 billion, or $0.60 per share. This compares with $1.696 billion, or $0.86 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Excluding items, NextEra Energy, Inc. reported adjusted earnings of $1.920 billion or $0.94 per share for the period.
