This gives Niku customers who are PMI members another valuable venue for securing Professional Development Units as part of their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification maintenance. As part of today's announcement, Niku also is introducing two additional Web Based Training courses.

    As a Registered Education Provider (REP), Niku has been approved by PMI to offer certification maintenance training to Project Management Professionals (PMP). As certified PMPs, individuals must meet specific education and experience requirements and agree to adhere to a code of professional conduct. Those professionals who have attained the PMP credential are among the largest and most prestigious group of certified professionals in the project management community.

    Project Scheduling with Workbench: This course teaches project managers how to create and manage their projects using Niku's scheduling tool, Workbench. The course covers the entire project creation process, including defining a project, building a work breakdown structure, assigning resources, and creating dependencies, estimates, and scheduling details. The course also includes day-to-day management techniques for work plans, reporting options using views and highlights, and the integration of Workbench with Clarity.
