No More Coupons For Macy's Clearance Items

(RTTNews) - Apparel retailer Macy's Inc. (M) has announced it will not accept coupons for clearance items. But coupons are still applicable when used to buy full-price items.

Macy's said from now on clearance items will be more deeply discounted, but discounts will be reflected in the price tag itself. Earlier, discounts were calculated at the register. The retailer has also moved all the clearance items to a centralized area in the store.

The latest change will make the shopping experience easier for customers, Macy's said.
