Nordstrom To Close Chicago Trunk Club Fulfillment Center

(RTTNews) - Nordstrom Inc. (JWN) Tuesday said it is closing the Chicago Trunk Club fulfillment center located on Goose Island in Chicago, Illinois by August 2017.

With the closure, Trunk Club will integrate its operations into the Nordstrom network of fulfillment and distribution centers, located across the United States.

The closure will affect about 250 full-time and part-time workers. Nordstrom said it work to help employees find other positions within the Trunk Club Chicago location or at nearby Nordstrom and Nordstrom Rack stores.

Trunk Club is a retail shopping service that pairs shoppers with a personal stylist both online and through five nationwide locations. Nordstrom acquired the business in 2014.
