Okta Named a Leader in Gartner Magic Quadrant for Access Management for Third Consecutive Year
Okta, Inc. (NASDAQ:OKTA) the leading independent provider of identity for the enterprise, today announced that the company has been recognized by Gartner Inc. as a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for Access Management. In June, Forrester Research Inc. recognized Okta as a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Identity-As-A-Service (IDaaS) for Enterprise, Q2 2019. Earlier in the year, Okta hosted its annual customer conference, Oktane19, in San Francisco where it announced new products and expanded functionality. In Q1 of this year, the company announced that 6,550 organizations are using Okta to securely connect people and organizations to the right technologies.
This report defines the AM market as "vendors providing solutions that use access control engines to provide centralized authentication, SSO, session management and authorization enforcement for target applications in multiple use cases (B2E, B2B, and B2C).” This is the third year in a row that Okta has been named a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for Access Management.
