O'Reilly Automotive Q3 Profit Up - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - O'Reilly Automotive Inc. (ORLY) Wednesday reported third-quarter profit of $186 million $1.69 per share, up from $159 million or $1.32 per share in the same period last year.

Sales improved 8 percent to $1.73 billion from $1.60 billion last year. Analysts expected revenues of $1.75 billion. Comparable store sales increased 4.6 percent from last year.

Looking ahead to the fourth-quarter, the company has forecast earnings in the range of $1.27 to $1.31 per share. Analysts currently expect earnings of $1.34 for the fourth quarter.

For the fiscal 2013, the company currently expect earnings in the range of $5.91 to $5.95 per share, with revenues ranging between $6.6 billion and $6.7 billion. The company earlier expected earnings in the range of $5.79 to $5.89 per share and revenues in the order of $6.6 billion to $6.7 billion.

Analysts currently expect the company to report full-year earnings of $5.94 per share on revenues of $6.66 billion.
