Pentair Estimates Q1, FY25 EPS Below Analysts' View, Stock Falls In Pre-Market

(RTTNews) - Pentair plc (PNR), Tuesday announced financial outlook for the first quarter and full year 2025.

The company anticipates earnings of approximately $155 - $158 million or $0.93 - $0.95 per share for the first quarter, and about $726 - $751 million or $4.37 - $4.52 per share for the full year 2025.

On adjusted basis, the water treatment company projects earnings of about $167 - $170 million or $1.00 - $1.02 per share, and nearly $772 - $797 million or $4.65 - $4.80 per share for the fiscal year 2025.

Analysts, on average, expect earnings of $1.1 per share for the first quarter and $4.83 per share for the full year 2025.

Compared to previous period, Pentair projects revenue of about 3 to 4 percent down on a reported basis for the first quarter, and approximately flat up 2 percent on a reported basis for the fiscal year 2025.

On average, analysts estimate revenue of $1.04 billion and $4.23 billion for the first quarter and full year 2025, respectively.
