Pool Corp. Bottom Line Advances 10% In Q3

(RTTNews) - Pool Corp. (POOL) announced a profit for its third quarter that gained ground compared to the same period last year.

The company said its bottom line totaled $48.78 million, or $1.16 per share. This was higher than $44.53 million, or $1.03 per share, in last year's third quarter.

Analysts had expected the company to earn $1.15 per share, according figures compiled by Thomson Reuters. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

The company said revenue for the quarter rose 7.5% to $743.40 million. This was up from $691.43 million last year.
