Hasbro Inc. (HAS) is rising 2 percent to $79.99. The company's second quarter profit improved from the year-ago quarter and its adjusted earnings per share topped Street view. Net revenues for the latest quarter decreased 4 percent, yet came above the consensus estimate.

Exelixis, Inc. (EXEL) is jumping 33 percent to $5.22. The company announced that the primary analysis of METEOR, a phase 3 pivotal trial comparing cabozantinib to everolimus in 658 patients with metastatic renal cell carcinoma, has met its primary endpoint.
