Procter & Gamble's Martin Riant To Retire
(RTTNews) - Procter & Gamble (PG) announced Friday that Martin Riant, the head of its global baby, feminine and family care and a former CEO contender, to retire effective June 30, 2016.
In a regulatory filing Friday, P&G said Riant will become an adviser to the CEO and continue his executive sponsorship of global sustainability, effective October 1.
Martin Riant is retiring after more than 35 years at the consumer goods giant, the company noted.
In July, P&G named another 35-year veteran, David Taylor to the role of Chief Executive Officer starting November 1, as the consumer goods giant replaces Chief Executive A.G. Lafley for the second time.
