Public Storage Q3 Profit Rises - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Public Storage (PSA) Thursday reported third-quarter funds from operations, or FFO, of $345.46 million or $2.00 per share, up from $296.65 million or $1.73 per share in the same period last year.

Core FFO for the quarter was $1.92 per share. On average, 19 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $1.89 per share for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Net income allocable to our common shareholders increased to $231.4 million or $1.34 per share from $202.5 million or $1.18 per share last year.

Revenues increased 5.5 percent to $441.01 million from $418.09 million last year. Analysts expected revenues of $464.58 million.
