Report: Playstation Neo To Be Unveiled Soon

(RTTNews) - Sony will probably launch PlayStation 4 Neo in a live-stream on September 7 at 12 pm in New York City's PlayStation Theater, reports said.

Earlier during the premier electronic show E3 in June, the company had confirmed the existence of PlayStation 4 Neo. However, the hardware was not on display at the show.

According to Polygon, it got confirmation from a Sony representative about the official launch in September. Sony has started sending invitation to the event.

The new Neo console reportedly has a CPU of 8 Jaguar Cores@2.1 GHz and GPU of improved AMD GCN, 36 CUs @ 911 MHz. It has memory of 8 GB GDDR5, 218GB/s, while the original PlayStation PS4 had 8GB GDDR5, 176GB/s.
