Richard C. Berke Appointed to the Hain Celestial Group Board of Directors

MELVILLE, N.Y., April 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Hain Celestial Group, Inc. , a leading natural and organic food and personal care products company, today announced the appointment of Richard C. Berke, Vice President, Human Resources for Broadridge Financial Solutions, Inc. , to its Board of Directors. Mr. Berke's appointment brings the number of directors on Hain Celestial's board to twelve.

Mr. Berke was previously Corporate Vice President of Human Resources with Automatic Data Processing, Inc. until its spin-off of ADP Brokerage Services Group, which is now known as Broadridge. Broadridge is a leading global provider of technology-based outsourcing solutions to the financial services industry with integrated systems and services including investor communication, securities processing, and clearing and outsourcing solutions.

Mr. Berke had served in various capacities at ADP since 1989 including President of its Benefits Services Division and Senior Vice President Human Resources of its Employer Services Division. Prior to joining ADP, Mr. Berke was a Senior Vice President and Human Resources Officer at Citibank and served in various senior level Human Resources positions at Squibb Corporation including Labor Relations, Human Resources Administration, Compensation and Benefits. Mr. Berke holds both a BS and a MBA in Economics from New York University.
