SeaWorld Turns Negative Despite Better Than Expected Q3 Results

(RTTNews) - After initially moving to the upside, shares of SeaWorld Entertainment, Inc. (SEAS) pulled back sharply in early trading on Monday. SeaWorld has climbed off its worst levels since then but remains down by 3.8 percent.

The downturn by SeaWorld came even though the theme park operator reported third quarter results that exceeded analyst estimates on both the top and bottom lines.

SeaWorld reported third quarter adjusted earnings of $1.13 per share on revenues of $483.2 million, while analysts had expected earnings of $1.11 per share on revenues of $480.2 million.
