    Today's healthcare organizations must be agile in order to respond quickly to changes in both internal operations as well as external pressures including industry regulations and government mandates. However, most of these organizations can no longer afford to replace foundation systems to support emerging and fundamental business processes. The council chose SeeBeyond's eGate(TM) Integrator platform, with business process management functionality provided by eInsight(TM) Business Process Manager.
    Kalmar chose Capgemini as its implementation partner, with SeeBeyond's consultants providing assistance and support in specific areas. The project began in fall 2004 and it is anticipated that all healthcare units in the area, including private facilities, will be using the new system by 2007.
