Suburban Propane Partners L.P. Q4 Loss Widens - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Suburban Propane Partners L.P. (SPH) reported a fourth-quarter net loss of $63.12 million or $1.05 per share, compared to a loss of $62.84 million or $1.32 per share, last year.

The company noted that its fourth-quarter of fiscal 2013 included 13 weeks of operations, compared to 14 weeks in the prior year fourth quarter, and includes a full quarter of results for the Inergy Propane business, compared to nine weeks in the prior year fourth quarter.

On average, ten analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss per share of $0.88 for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Revenues rose to $243.67 million, from $226.34 million, last year. Analysts expected revenue of $293.94 million, for the quarter.
