    CALABASAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 17, 2005--SunGard Treasury Systems, an operating group of SunGard (NYSE:SDS), today announced that Caterpillar Inc. has selected the AvantGard suite of solutions from SunGard to support its global treasury operations and will implement the solution using 6 Sigma methodology.
    Caterpillar will use several modules of AvantGard-GTM 8.0, including Cash Management and Forecasting, Multi-Lateral Netting, Bank Relationship Management, Advanced Risk Analysis, and Accounting. The total SunGard solution will consolidate different financial systems onto a single global, integrated platform for use in global treasury operations.
