We know interest rate cuts are likely coming soon, which is a welcome sign for many REITs, but we cannot invest based on that alone; the REITs still need to perform well. When we look at a company like Realty Income (NYSE: O), which has been the gold standard for REITs for many years, the growth is slowing substantially and we have to ask ourselves, is the REIT still worth owning?
