Univision Radio Names Timothy Ward Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer

Univision Communications Inc. (NYSE:UVN), the nation'sleading Spanish-language media company, today announced theappointment of Timothy Ward as Senior Vice President & Chief FinancialOfficer of Univision Radio, Inc. Since June 2004, Mr. Ward has servedas Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of Univision Radio. Mr.Ward has been with Univision Radio (formerly Hispanic BroadcastingCorporation) since 2000, serving previously as Assistant Treasurer andVice President & Treasurer. Mr. Ward continues in his primaryresponsibilities of managing Univision Radio's financial and businessaffairs, cash management, radio station acquisitions, and assisting inthe group's strategic direction.

Prior to joining Univision Radio, Mr. Ward held financialmanagement positions with radio broadcaster AMFM, Inc. prior to itsmerger with Clear Channel Communications, and with The Associates,which is now part of Citigroup. He began his career at KPMG in Dallasand served as a research fellow at the U.S. Commodities FuturesTrading Commission (CFTC) in Washington, DC.

Mr. Ward earned a BBA from Baylor University and an MBA fromSouthern Methodist University. He has been active in the Dallas civiccommunity and instrumental in mentoring youth. Mr. Ward serves on abusiness school advisory board at Baylor University and on the boardof the Broadcasting Cable Financial Management Association (BCFM).
