Wesco International Q4 Profit Surges

(RTTNews) - Wesco International Inc. (WCC), Thursday announced an increase in fourth quarter net income attributable to the company of $74.5 million that surged from $58 million in the prior year. Earnings per share climbed to $1.40 from $1.09 last year. On average, 20 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to earn $1.48 per share.

Net sales were $1.995 billion, up 6.1 percent from $1.880 million in the previous year. Analysts were looking for revenue of $2 billion. The company noted that all its four end markets as well as three geographic regions recorded growth for the quarter.
