Wix.com Q1 Loss Widens, Backs 2015 Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Web development platform Wix.com Ltd. (WIX) reported that first-quarter net loss widened to $16.03 million or $0.41 per share from $14.92 million or $0.40 per share in the prior-year quarter.

Excluding items, adjusted net loss for the quarter was $11.71 million or $0.30 per share, compared to loss of $11.32 million or $0.30 per share in the year-ago quarter.

Revenues for the quarter surged 54 percent to $44.52 million from $28.8 million in the same quarter last year. Collections increased 49 percent to $55.9 million from a year ago.

On average, nine analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.33 per share and revenues of $44.77 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

Looking ahead to the second quarter, the company expects revenues between $48 million and $49 million. Analysts expect the company to report revenues of $48.72 million for the quarter.

For fiscal 2015, the company continues to project revenues between $200 million and $204 million, analysts are looking for $203.06 million.
