Wix.com Q4 Loss Widens; Issues Q1, FY15 Revenue Outlook - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Wix.com Ltd. (WIX), global web development platform, reported fourth-quarter GAAP net loss of $15.1 million, wider than $10.9 million in the prior year period, while loss per share narrowed to $0.39 from $0.45 per share, last year.

Non-GAAP net loss widened to $9.60 million from $6.96 million in the comparable quarter last year, whereas loss per share narrowed to $0.25 from $0.29 in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Revenues for the latest fourth quarter increased 67% to $41.56 million from $24.94 million last year. Collections increased 61% to $49.3 million from $30.6 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters expected the company to report a loss of $0.30 per share and revenues of $39.93 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.

For the first quarter of 2015 the company expects collections to be in the range of $52 million to $53 million, and revenues of $43 million to $44 million. Analysts expect the company to report revenues of $43.78 million for the first quarter.

For the full year 2015, the company expects collections to be in the range of $235 million to $242 million and revenues in the range of $198 million to $202 million. Analysts project annual revenues of $202.02 million.
