Yingli Green Energy Q2 Loss Narrows - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited (YGE) reported that its second-quarter net loss to company narrowed to RMB 320.8 million or RMB 2.05 per share, from RMB 573.0 million or RMB 3.66 per share, last year. Loss per ADS was $0.33 in the second quarter of 2013.

On an adjusted basis, net loss was RMB 321.5 million or RMB 2.05 per ordinary share. Adjusted loss per ADS for the quarter was $0.33.

Total net revenues were RMB 3.38 billion, up from RMB 3.10 billion prior year. Overall gross margin was 11.8% in the second quarter of 2013, which improved from 4.6% in the second quarter of 2012.

The company reiterated its PV module shipment target to be in the estimated range of 3.2 GW to 3.3 GW for fiscal 2013, which represents an increase of 39.4% to 43.7% compared to fiscal 2012.
