Yingli Green Energy Q4 Loss Narrows - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Chinese solar energy company Yingli Green Energy Holding Co. Ltd. (YGE) Wednesday reported fourth-quarter net loss of RMB 550.0 million or $88.7 million, narrower than RMB 776.2 million last year. Loss per ADS narrowed to RMB 3.03 or $0.49, from RMB 4.95 in the fourth quarter of 2013.

Excluding certain items, loss per ADS for the quarter totaled RMB 2.94, or $0.47, wider than RMB 1.85 a year ago.

Total revenues for the latest fourth quarter were RMB 3.45 billion or $555.5 million, down from RMB 3.71 billion last year.

Based on current market and operating conditions, estimated production capacity and forecasted customer demand, the company expects its PV module shipment target to be in the estimated range of 3.6 GW to 3.9 GW for fiscal year 2015, which represents an increase of 7.1% to 16.0% compared to fiscal year 2014.
