London, 29 April 2015 -- Moody's Investors Service has today upgraded Russian integrated oil company OJSC Bashneft's (Bashneft) corporate family rating (CFR) to Ba1 from Ba2 and its probability of default rating (PDR) to Ba1-PD from Ba2-PD, following the rating agency's decision to assign the company government related issuer (GRI) status after the company was taken into government ownership on 8 December 2014. The outlook on the ratings is negative.
