China Merchants Holdings International Co Ltd -- Moody's: China Merchants Holdings International's profit warning credit negative, but ratings unaffected

Hong Kong, July 15, 2016 -- Moody's Investors Service says that China Merchants Holdings International Co Ltd's (CMHI) announcement of a profit warning is credit negative for the company, given that its adjusted financial profile is weaker than we had assessed in view of the challenging operating environment. But the warning does not immediately affect its Baa1 issuer rating and the rating outlook remains negative.
