ConocoPhillips Company -- Moody's assigns A1 rating to ConocoPhillips' proposed notes
New York, November 06, 2014 -- Moody's Investors Service assigned an A1 rating to ConocoPhillips Company's proposed $3 billion senior notes, to be guaranteed by its parent, ConocoPhillips (COP, A1 stable). Proceeds from the notes will be used to refinance the company's $1.5 billion in senior unsecured notes due January 2015 and for general corporate purposes, including to fund the company's ongoing capital expenditures. The other A1 senior unsecured ratings of ConocoPhillips and its guaranteed subsidiaries are unaffected, and the rating outlook is stable.
