Sydney, April 30, 2015 -- Moody's says that Transurban Group's announcement that it is progressing its unsolicited bid with the state government of Victoria for the proposed Western Distributor project would be credit negative for Transurban Finance Company Pty Ltd ("TFC"; Baa1 stable). TFC, which is wholly owned by Transurban, acts as the group's financing vehicle.
