BlackRock CEO Pay Down 2% In 2016
(RTTNews) - Blackrock Inc. (BLK), the world's largest money manager, announced that its Chief Executive Laurence Fink's total compensation declined 2 percent in 2016 compared to last year.
In the proxy statement disclosed Thursday, the company said that Laurence Fink received a total compensation of $25.5 million, including base salary, stock grants and incentives, compared to the $25.8 million received in 2015 and $23.9 million in 2014.
Gary Shedlin, Senior Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer, earned $6.02 million in 2016, which is down from $6.09 million received a year earlier.
President Robert Kapito received $19.6 million and Chief Operating Officer Robert Goldstein got $7.3 million, according to the filing.
