Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp. Q4 Profit Increases, beats estimates

(RTTNews) - Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp. (CTSH) announced earnings for its fourth quarter that increased from the same period last year and beat the Street estimates.

The company's earnings totaled $558 million, or $1.11 per share. This compares with $521 million, or $1.02 per share, in last year's fourth quarter.

Excluding items, Cognizant Technology Solutions Corp. reported adjusted earnings of $1.18 per share for the period.
