Comcast Buys 29.1% Stake In Sky - Quick Facts
(RTTNews) - Comcast Corp. (CMCSK, CMCSA) announced Tuesday that its indirect unit Comcast Bidco Limited has acquired 499.57 million shares of Sky Plc (BSY.L, SKY.L) in the market for a price of 17.28 pounds per share.
In aggregate, this represents approximately 29.1 percent of the ordinary share capital of Sky in issue.
As a result of its purchases, Comcast Bidco owns approximately 29.1 percent of the ordinary share capital of Sky.
Comcast Bidco is seeking to make further market purchases of Sky Shares at a price of 17.28 pounds per share.
