Costamare Profit Misses Estimate, Revenue Beats - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Costamare Inc (CMRE) Friday reported third-quarter net earnings to stockholders of $34 million or $0.45 per share compared with $20.4 million or $0.27 per share last year.

Excluding items, adjusted earnings for the quarter were $0.38 per share.

Costamare, based in Athens, Greecs, owns and charters containerships to liner companies. Costamare's voyage revenues for the quarter were $124.7 million compared with $110 million in the prior year.

Analysts polled by Thomson Reuters estimated earnings of $0.39 per share on revenues of $123 million for the quarter. Analysts' estimates typically exclude special items.
