Costco Wholesale June Comps. Down 1%, But Net Sales Rise 1% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Costco Wholesale Corp. (COST) reported that its total comparable sales for the month of June 2015 was down 1 percent, with a 3 percent rise in U.S., a 8 percent drop in international comparable sales.

But, Monthly comparable sales, excluding negative impacts from gasoline price deflation and foreign exchange, were up 6 percent, with 6 percent growth in both the U.S. and International business.

Net sales of $11.01 billion for the month of June, the five weeks ended July 5, 2015, an increase of one percent from $10.88 billion during the similar period last year.

For the forty-four weeks ended July 5, 2015, the Company reported net sales of $96.32 billion, an increase of four percent from $92.88 billion during the similar period last year.
