Costco Wholesale June Comps Up 6.0%

(RTTNews) - Costco Wholesale Corp.(COST) reported that its total comparable sales for the month of June 2017 increased 6.0 percent, with a 6.5 percent increase in U.S., a 3.2 percent rise in Canada, and Other International comparable sales rose 6.2 percent.

Monthly Comparable sales, excluding the impacts from changes in gasoline prices and foreign exchange, were up 6.5 percent, with a 6.3 percent rise in U.S., a 6.8 percent increase in Canada, and 7.1 percent rise in Other International comparable sales.

Net sales were $12.17 billion for the month of June, the five weeks ended July 2, 2017, an increase of seven percent from $11.33 billion during the similar period last year.

For the forty-four weeks ended July 2, 2017, the Company reported net sales of $104.28 billion, an increase of six percent from $98.51 billion during the similar period last year.
