Costco Wholesale Oct. Comps. Rise 4% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Membership warehouses operator Costco Wholesale Corp. (COST) said its comparable sales in October 2014 grew by 4% for the total company. Excluding negative impacts from gasoline price deflation and foreign exchange, comparable sales for the 4-week period rose 7% for the total company.

The company reported net sales of $8.73 billion for the month of October, up seven percent from $8.15 billion last year.

For the nine weeks ended November 2, 2014, the firm clocked net sales of $19.30 billion, a seven percent increase from $18.01 billion during the similar period last year.
