Costco Wholesale October Comps Down 1%, But Net Sales Up 1% - Quick Facts

(RTTNews) - Costco Wholesale Corp. (COST) reported that its total comparable sales for the month of October 2015 were down 1%, with a 1 percent rise in U.S., an 8 percent drop in Canada, and a 6 percent decline in Other International comparable sales.

Monthly total Comparable sales, excluding the negative impacts from gasoline price deflation and foreign exchange, were up 5 percent, with a 4 percent rise in U.S., a 10 percent increase in Canada, and 4 percent rise in Other International comparable sales.

Net sales were $8.78 billion for the month of October, the four weeks ended November 1, 2015, an increase of one percent from $8.73 billion during the similar period last year.
