CSC Elects Dr. C. S. Park to Board of Directors

EL SEGUNDO, Calif., July 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Computer Sciences Corporation today announced that Dr. C. S. Park has been elected to the company's board of directors.

Dr. Park, 59, has been a member of the board of directors of Seagate Technologies since May 2006, following Seagate's acquisition of Maxtor Corporation, where Dr. Park had served as chairman and chief executive officer from November 2004 until May 2006. He also served as chairman of Maxtor's board of directors from May 1998 until May 2006, and as a member of its board from February 1994 to May 2006. From 1995 to 1996, he was president and chief executive officer of Maxtor.

"With a wealth of superior business and financial perspective gained throughout his distinguished career, he will be a valuable asset to our board."

Previously, Dr. Park served as investment partner and managing director at H&Q Asia Pacific, a private equity firm. Prior to joining H&Q Asia Pacific, Dr. Park served as chairman and chief executive Officer of Hynix Semiconductor Inc.

Dr. Park is also a member of the boards of directors of STATS ChipPAC Ltd., Smart Modular Technologies Inc. and Ballard Power Systems Inc.

He received a bachelor's degree from Yonsei University, Korea, an MBA from the University of Chicago and a doctorate in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University.
