CSC Wins Healthcare Claims Processing Contract from the Department of Veterans Affairs
CSC (NYSE:CSC) announced today that the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs awarded the company a task order to provide healthcare claims processing system and services. The task order has a one-year base period and four one-year options. This contract was awarded to CSC during the company’s fiscal 2010 third quarter and falls under the U.S. General Services Administration’s Alliant contract.
Under the terms of the agreement, CSC and its subcontractor, Plexis Healthcare Systems, will provide the Department of Veterans Affairs Financial Services Center (FSC) with software for a healthcare claims processing system. The FSC will use the system to perform medical claims processing for a variety of programs.
