Denver Career College to Host Graduation for 83 Students Friday Evening
THORNTON, Colo., Sept. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Denver Career College announced today that it will host a graduation ceremony on Friday, Sept. 15, 2006. The ceremony will begin at 6:00 p.m. at Victory Church at 11777 Sheridan Blvd. in Westminster, Colo.
The ceremony will recognize 83 students who have earned an associate of applied science or a certificate. Upon graduation, students will be prepared for entry-level positions in their field of study, many of which are in high demand throughout the state. According to the Colorado Occupational Outlook 2005 (published by the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment, Labor Market Information, Projections Unit) paralegal positions are expected to increase by 51.8 percent, pharmacy technician positions by 52.5 percent, massage therapist positions by 11.5 percent and medical assistant positions by 54.3 percent from 2004 to 2014.
Two students will deliver the keynote address at graduation. MaryAnn Benavides is a 2002 graduate who earned her Certificate in Massage Therapy. Today, MaryAnn is an owner of Pure Skin and Body Day Spa, in Littleton, Colo. Andrea Martinez will also speak to her class as a graduating candidate for an Associate of Applied Science in Criminal Justice.

Denver Career College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT).
