Under the agreement, which runs through September 2010, Emdeon Business Services will continue to provide the core set of HIPAA transactions and, in addition, the companies will collaborate to accelerate the adoption of Electronic Remittance Advice (ERA) and the Electronic Coordination of Benefit (eCOB) claims.
