EQS-Adhoc: Commerzbank has decided to implement a share buyback programme with a volume of up to €1.2 billion

Following receipt of the required approvals, the responsible corporate bodies of Commerzbank AG decided today to implement a share buyback programme with a volume of up to €1.2 billion.

The share buyback will commence on September 4, 2026 and is scheduled to be completed by February 10, 2027, at the latest. Following the resolution of the Board of Managing Directors the details of the share buyback programme will be made public in an announcement pursuant to Art. 5(1) lit. a) of Regulation (EU) 596/2014 and Art. 2(1) of Delegated Regulation (EU) 2016/1052. The repurchased shares of Commerzbank AG will be cancelled.
