SMT Scharf AG: Managing and Supervisory Board propose the resumption of dividend payments

Hamm, March 20, 2025 – The Managing Board of SMT Scharf AG (German Securities Code (WKN): A3DRAE, ISIN: DE000A3DRAE2) plans to resume dividend payments and, with the approval of the Supervisory Board, decided today to propose a dividend of EUR 0.21 per share for the 2024 financial year at the Annual General Meeting. The proposal for the appropriation of profits is to be submitted to the Annual General Meeting for approval following the adoption of the audited annual financial statements. Subject to the approval of the shareholders at the Annual General Meeting on May 20, 2025, the total dividend payment to shareholders will be approximately EUR 1.2 million. This dividend proposal is based on the dividend policy also approved today by the Managing Board and Supervisory Board. Accordingly, it is intended to distribute the net retained profits as a dividend to shareholders in the amount of at least 20% of the IFRS consolidated net profit after deduction of non-controlling interests.
