EQS-Ad-hoc: SMT Scharf AG / Key word(s): Personnel SMT Scharf AG: Resignation of the Chairman of the Supervisory Board Hamm, June 30, 2025 – SMT Scharf AG (WKN: A3DRAE; ISIN: DE000A3DRAE2) announces that the Chairman of the Supervisory Board of SMT Scharf AG, Mr. Li Zhang, today informed the company that, in light of assuming a new senior position within the sister company of the main shareholder Yankuang and the associated change in his area of responsibility, he is resigning from his office as a member and Chairman of the Supervisory Board with immediate effect. The vacancy on the Supervisory Board is to be filled promptly by court appointment. Until a new Chairman is elected by the Supervisory Board, the Deputy Chairman, Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Bernhard Mager, will, in accordance with the Articles of Association and legal requirements, assume the duties of the Chairman.
