Andreas Weishaar appointed as Chief Executive Officer of TAKKT AG

The Supervisory Board of TAKKT AG has confirmed Andreas Weishaar as a member of the Management Board and appointed him as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). TAKKT is looking forward to continuing to build on the momentum Andreas Weishaar created during his tenure as interim CEO through decisive operational and strategic progress.

Stuttgart, Germany, December 3, 2024. Andreas Weishaar has been a member of the Management Board of TAKKT AG and interim CEO as of August 1, 2024. Since joining the company, he has initiated key programs to improve operational performance and set the future strategic direction for the Group. In addition, he has formed a new Executive Leadership Team adding experienced talent to the Group.

"Andreas Weishaar has taken over the management of TAKKT at a challenging time, very quickly gaining an accurate picture of the Group's situation and tackling critical issues. He successfully initiated programs to increase order intake, improve customer centricity, and upgrade processes and systems", says Hubertus Mühlhäuser, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of TAKKT AG.

Andreas Weishaar has longstanding and extensive experience as a member of executive teams and in-depth knowledge of the supplier and customer markets relevant to TAKKT. Before joining TAKKT, he was an Officer and a member of the Executive Team of CNH Industrial (NYSE:CNH), a manufacturer of agriculture and construction machinery, and commercial and specialty vehicles. Prior to that, he was an Officer at the global foodservice equipment manufacturer Welbilt (NYSE:WBT) and held various international management positions at the agricultural machinery group AGCO (NYSE:AGCO).
