GM Earnings Surge with 54% EPS Boost
Automotive giant General Motors (NYSE:GM) reported strong earnings for the fourth quarter and full-year 2024 on Tuesday, Jan. 28. Robust adjusted earnings per share (EPS) of $1.92 topped the analysts' consensus estimate of $1.85 and were up 55% year over year. Quarterly revenue of $47.7 billion jumped 11% from the previous year's Q4 and beat estimates of $44.98 billion. Despite facing challenges, GM's North American operations powered through, re-establishing its position with a substantial improvement in operational execution.Source: General Motors.
