That's why Hasbro Inc.'s (NYSE: HAS) NERF brand is bringing one lucky young hoop fan directly to the action! The NERF brand is sponsoring the "Ultimate NERFOOP Weekend Madness" Sweepstakes to give kids across the country a chance to win a trip for two to a 4-day weekend of hoops in St. Louis, Missouri (April 1-4, 2005) that includes a personal coaching clinic, and tickets to National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) events and weekend activities.
    The grand prize includes tickets to a basketball triple-header, highlighted by the Sixth Annual Harlem Globetrotters vs. NABC College All-Stars game, and two tickets to other NABC events and other weekend activities. NERF is the title sponsor of the College All-Stars game, which is being held on April 1. The grand-prize winner also will receive a personal coaching clinic with Hall of Fame and 2-time National Champion coach Denny Crum.

    Twenty-five first prizes of NERF NITEJAM NERFOOP games will also be awarded. Powered with FIREWIRE technology, the NERF NITE JAM NERFOOP game allows kids to play basketball in the light or in the dark with a light-up basketball and basketball rim.
