iAnywhere Wins Two MobileTrax 2005 Mobility Awards
DUBLIN, Calif., Jan. 17 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- iAnywhere Solutions, Inc., a subsidiary of Sybase, Inc. , today announced that it has been awarded two MobileTrax 2005 Mobility Awards. The company's Answers Anywhere(TM) product was selected as a winner in the "Software" category, while the company's April 2004 acquisition of XcelleNet(R) was also a winner in the "Mergers and Acquisitions" category. iAnywhere was the only software company to win in more than one category for the well-known annual Mobility Awards.
The 2005 Mobility Awards recognize the best mobile computing and wireless data communications products and services announced in 2004. "iAnywhere Solutions has been a longstanding mobile database and middleware leader and it continues to drive the market with innovative product offerings," said J. Gerry Purdy, Ph.D., Chief Analyst with MobileTrax LLC.
