Infopia Releases Online Selling Solution for Salesforce.com's AppExchange
SAN FRANCISCO, salesforce.com Dreamforce '06 Conference, Oct. 9 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Infopia, the industry leader in multi-channel online selling solutions, and salesforce.com , the market and technology leader in on-demand business services, today announced the availability of Infopia's Marketplace Manager solution suite for salesforce.com's AppExchange -- helping merchants transform their online sales transactions into true relationships. The new Infopia offering gives salesforce.com customers a complete solution to effectively manage their online sales via their Website and online marketplaces. The announcement was made today at Dreamforce '06, salesforce.com's User and Developer Conference.
By tightly integrating Infopia's Marketplace Manager with salesforce.com's industry-leading CRM and on-demand business services, online sellers can now expand their customer relationship management operations by differentiating from the competition with a more personal and targeted shopping experience for customers, as well as by maintaining a consolidated, complete view of the customer to drive higher levels of customer satisfaction. Online sellers can extend their reach to a much greater number of customers beyond the traditional direct sales, call center and website channels to tap into the vast online buyer community, such as eBay's marketplace.
"The new Infopia solution opens up a single, holistic view of our customers and business, while leveraging our salesforce.com investments," explained Jac Holland, president of TechnoDirect. "We can more efficiently manage customer inquiries and more thoughtfully develop customer relationships that result in more repeat business and higher average selling prices."
"Infopia's work with salesforce.com is a remarkable milestone and partnership in online selling," said Bjorn Espenes, CEO of Infopia. "With our integration, we are transforming what has traditionally been a transaction- focused business into a relationship-centric business where the value to both the seller and the buyer can be maximized."
"Infopia's solution will be tremendously useful to both experienced online merchants and those new to online marketplaces," said Matt Holleran, vice president, AppExchange partners, salesforce.com. "The combination of salesforce.com's on-demand business applications with Infopia's leading online selling capabilities demonstrates the power and flexibility of the AppExchange on-demand platform to continually create new value for our customers."
Infopia's Marketplace Manager for AppExchange is one of more than 375 applications now available on the salesforce.com AppExchange, the world's first on-demand directory and sharing service, found at http://www.salesforce.com/appexchange .
